2 months until HBO’s Treme

I’m a big fan of HBO’s The Wire, in the past I’ve made several posts about the show on this blog. So I was very happy to hear that HBO and The Wire creator David Simon were teaming up again and making a new show set in post Hurricane Katrina New Orleans, and even more thrilled when I read that the Wendell Pierce (Bunk Moreland) and Clarke Peters (Lester Freeman) would be a part of Treme’s cast.

I just noticed that HBO has put up the official website for the program and announced that it’s coming in April, so let the countdown begin. Guess I can hold myself over until then with some reruns of The Wire.
