The Great Chair Experiment of NY

A friend of mine posted this video on his Facebook and I thought it was worth sharing. A design company put 25 modern design chairs equipped with GPS on the streets of Manhattan and monitored them waiting for random people to come and take them home. They filmed it all and made the movie bellow:

Pretty cool idea, fantastically original advertising concept.

Time Digital Magazine Concept

A while back I posted a YouTube clip of a living magazine concept, something I liked but don’t see really taking off. At the end of the day that concept still is a disposable product, and I think in the future we’re going to see less and less of that. I think idea of a reading device where content is pushed in electronically makes a lot more sense, and this video is exactly in line with my thinking. It’s an issue of Sports Illustrated designed to run on tablet computer or touch screen reading device.
