Seriously I’m going to be depressed for the entire month, thieving bastards! What have you done for me lately?

Slaughterhouse concert
I went and photographed the Slaughterhouse concert last night in Stockholm. I honestly can’t even tell you how the concert was because I was shooting pictures non-stop from start to finish, the only the song I can remember them doing was Royce da 5′9″s classic Boom.

Liar … liar … pants on fire
Last week I sent a second invoice out to a production company that is late paying me for a job. The producer that hired me immediately responded to my e-mail and invoice by apologizing profusely and claiming that she never recieved the original invoice. You know what? That’s some shit that infuriates me to no end.
I send this stupid useless person the first invoice on November 2nd at 12:28, she replied to my email not even ten minutes later at 12:37 where she thanked me for doing a great job and even attached a QuickTime clip from the job. Now here we are a month later and two weeks passed the due date, and you question my intelligence. She even wrote that she looked in her junk mail box to make sure my invoice didn’t get lost, to add insult to injury I supose.
A week after being feed this crap and the invoice still isn’t paid. Honestly I’m not even upset about the money, it’s being bullshitted that ticks me off. I’m willing to put up with a lot at work. I’ll work night shoots, shooting in snow or rain. I pick up last minute jobs whenever I’m asked to, and when I say last minute I mean “Can you be here in an hour?” last minute. I go and pick up other departments equipment at the rental house when picking up my own stuff, because producers find it convinient
All I ask is to be paid on time!
I don’t show up late or hungover, I don’t leave when early when an inexperienced producer botches up the time estimate and has you thinking a 12 hour day will be an 8 hour day. I shouldn’t have to be private detective tracking down my money.
I don’t even feel totally right venting about this. Work is rough for a lot of freelancers and I’m grateful to be getting by, but this shit will not stand! This uncheked agression will not stand! Certain people are going to start hearing no when they call and ask for someone to come and do jobs at the last minute.
Drum Studio
Pictured bellow is an HDR panorama of a drum studio I went and shot about two weeks back. I went there first to do the lighting for a TV/internet commercial, and was than asked to come back and photograph the place for the owner so he could use some images on his website.
Unfortunately I missed a pretty big hole when doing this panorama. Wonder if I can clone my way out of this mess?
