Pretty cool idea, fantastically original advertising concept.

Annoying web ads

June 7th, 2009

Pictured bellow is a web ad that has been hounding for the past two days when I’ve surfed the internet. This awful piece of shit takes the liberty of starting to make an annoying sound of dropping water when you accidentally float over it. Worse of all it doesn’t stop until you reload your browser or leave the page you are trying to read.

Worthless Web Ad

I wonder what the strategy behind it is, perhaps annoying you until the point when you click on it because you can take no more. This god awful advert was enough to drive me to find a solution and this CSS style sheet blocks all advertisements. A shame because there are a lot of websites that depend on advertisement revenue and you will remove that from them, I shamelessly have Google ads on here (but they don’t beep at you).

Anyhow, a line in the sand must be drawn. Enjoy the style sheet and feel free to send some hate mail to the people behind that crap ad at support.se@timwe.com.

Google Chrome TV commercial

May 12th, 2009

Not every day you see television advertisements from Google. I rather like it, no bragging or talking about features, just a clever suggestion. Thanks to roytanck.com for the heads up.

And yes, any browser is better than IE!

Watchmen Graffiti

I haven’t seen Watchmen, at this point I will see it on DVD or not at all. Is it worth watching?

This time-lapse graffiti sequence sure is:
